Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Lower Quadrant Area

My 79 year old mother has history of L2-L5 decompression and fusion and has had many steroid injections the past 18 months for various pains. She has had LESI injections, SI injections, Hip Bursa, and Selective Nerve Root Block Injections pending her symptoms at those various times. She has been complaining of a worsening at times pain that is in her right lower quadrant almost reaching her side. It hurts to straighten out in bed and when she has to walk more than a short distance. She has had to sleep in her recliner due to the pain with laying straight.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that she might be having severe degenerating changes and giving pressure nerve symptoms.
She might be having osteoporosis as well precipitating this problem.
Ask her to go for light physiotherapy like back extension exercises.
Ask her to go for light walking exercises as well.
Give her Calcium and vitamin D supplements.
Ok and take care.
