Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Navel While Experiencing Spotting Along With Headaches Every Morning

I m on birth control and when I got on it I was bleeding normal for these last 3 months I have just been spotting or spot one day and next day nothing then I ll start spoting again I ve been wakening up with headaches and feeling sick and have a really sharp pain like a needle in my belly button what could be causing it

Hi,

This irregular bleeding and abdominal pain are quite normal for patients on OC pills due to changes in hormonal levels. You can take NSAID per oral like Advil for pain control. Mantain hygiene.

I usually prescribe coagulants like Tranexamic Acid thrice a day for such patients. If the things don't improve, please see your gynecologist specialist. She might procure an abdominal scan to rule out any accidental ectopic or uterine pregnancy and a beta hCG test.
