Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Palm Of The Hand
My 20 year old son has been complaining of sever pain in the heal of his left palm. The wrist does not hurt nor did he injure it. when he was working at the grocery store it hurt all the time. he does have elevated calcium and we are going for another blood test. the doctor thinks it s just a strain. it swells up, feels warm and turns red. it this something we need to insist on more attention from the Dr? thanks .

The symptoms seem to be related to carpal tunnel syndrome. The carpal tunnel is a narrow passageway of ligament and bone located at the base of the hand.
I suggest using anti-inflammatory such as Ibuprofen. I also suggest maintaining hand immobilized.
