Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Rib Area

I have had a pain on my right side in the lower rib area for about 6 months. I have had to eat tums whenever I eat spicy foods. Now it even happens when I eat simple things like oatmeal and bananas. I only comfortable when I lay down. When I sit in a chair it feels like my rib cage is digging into something om my right side. I feel a little sick at my stomach. Could this be gall stones.

I understand your concern
Pain under ribcage on right side could be due to costochondritis, inflammation and stone in gall bladder, gastritis, GERD, liver inflammation, stone and infection in kidney.
I would suggest to consult internal medicine specialist and undergo clinical examination, blood tests like CBC, ESR, LFT, KFT, USG scan.
Specific treatment depend on cause and test result.
Meanwhile take tablet Dan MR, tablet ranitidine, apply warm pad application, avoid exertion.
