Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain On The Left Side Of The Neck
I noticed pain in the left side of my neck since Thursday evening. Very stiff neck, hard to turn. I also felt a small lump or something on the side of my neck. Felt as though something was swollen. I was sick with a fever Thursday night 101.8. Took Motrin and slept. It went away. I also was sick on Thanksgiving Day with fever and sever sore throat

Hello,
It could be due to cervical spondylitis.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persists you can consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI neck.
