Suggest Treatment For Severe Productive Cough At Night

i have lots of mucus, if i was a baby id think cystic fibrosis, which i know i don t have at 50+ it is worse when i lay down, often waking up in the night coughing for over 10 min to get mucus up. this has been helped by taking mucunx. i have mild asthma, but since moving to the desert and not working in a dusty environment i don t use inhaler often, less then 3 times a month

You have not given duration and onset history of your problem. possibly it may be due to acute/chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma or pneumonia. Stay away from cold beverages and water. Use water vaporizer as many times as possible. Take Ascaril syrup 2 times daily for 7 days. If the symptoms persist you need to consult a pulmonolgist. Who will take an X-ray and do bronchoscopy to exactly evaluate your condition and impart further treatment.
