Suggest Treatment For Severe Rashes On The Face And Joint Pain

My sister experienced a severe rash on her face and joint pain several weeks ago. She had been in the Dominican Republic and has several mosquito bites. Zika was negative. Infectious disease doctor was not sure what the etiology was. The rash and itching went away but she is still experiencing knee pain only at rest and is unable to sleep. She is able to walk fine and doesn t seem to have any pain on activity. She is adamant that it is all related to this virus she had. What are your thoughts on this nocturnal knee pain. I think other auto immune diseases were ruled out. Thank you
