Suggest Treatment For Severe Right Arm Pain After A Shoulder Surgery

I had shoulder surgery for a rotator cuff fracture latter part of August 2016. I pushed myself after physical therapy visits thinking I could obtain the motion in my right arm as I had before the accident (lifting my right arm above my head). Due to pain in my right arm, I visited the Orthopaedist again and was then told that the plate should come out now. Why on earth, did I push myself so hard and now to go back to surgery? Is that necessary?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my clinical experience, the current presentation suggests the explanation suggests a grave problem with the post-surgery prosthesis.

You must undergo revision surgery as advised by the ortho surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
