General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The scalp pain is probably related to peripheral neuropathy.
I suggest using an anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain.
If the symptoms continue, you may consult a neurologist for prescription painkillers such as Gabapentin.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
