Suggest Treatment For Severe Scapular Pain And Loss Of Appetite

Hello, my name is Paige, and I ve been having a dull, aching pain behind my right scapula for just about two years now. Recently the pain has gotten much worse and kind of debilitating (hurts to move my arm or do much). There is also a burning in my lungs when I breathe, and the spot in my back hurts when I breathe as well. I ve been feeling randomly nauseous and I ve lost a couple of pounds because of my loss of appetite. I don t have much of a cough, but coughing has been occurring more and when I do cough it s really dry and hurts in my lungs. I m just hoping to here a few ideas on what it could be. I ve done plenty of research online of a lot of possibilities, and any answer I know is just an opinion and not an actual diagnosis. Thank you for your time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Actually you have neglected the thing for at least a year! From your description. It seems to be something that involves lung (bronchitis or pneumonitis). It can be allergic or infective in your case.

You need to see a chest physician, get examined &investigated as advised&get specifically treated for relief from the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
