Suggest Treatment For Severe Shivering

hello - my husband get very chilled sometimes, he shivers uncontrollably until he warms up. Last night this happened but he was burning up to touch but according to the thermometer, there was no fever he feels ok today except just tired what would cause these events?

Hi,

I would advise you to check your thermometer. If he was hot enough to touch along with chills then I think it is fever with chills and rigor. Please get him investigated for causes, of fever if it happens again, with your treating doctor. There are specific causes for fever with chills.
