Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Pain And Headaches

Hi, I went to Italy last week for a wedding. We ate a lot of carbs and had a fair bit of wine (I normally drink but not every day but don t eat that many carbs). Half way through I started experiencing severe stomach pains on the left hand side above my hip and painful headaches as well as getting very cold and hot sweat flushes. I ve been waking up with night sweats, drenching my sheets. This was now 6 days ago and I m back home, but still have the symptoms and a sore throat. Any idea?

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have severe stomach pain and headaches . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are probably due to sea food allergy . I would suggest you to drink plenty of water , take benadryl twice a day , avoid eating acidic and spicy food and consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order X-ray of upper digestive track , ambulatory acidity test and endoscopy of esophagus to rule out condition like acid reflux . Doctor may also refer you to allergy specialist , ho may give adrenaline short along with anti allergic and immunosuppressants . For now take antacid and do warm saline gargles .
