General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

In such a case, consult a surgical gastroenterologist also for clinical evaluation, examination to see for any intestine related problems. Get a Contrast enhanced CT scan with enteroclysis, colonoscopy, diagnostic laparoscopy and as needed. This will help to see for any other cause the treatment of which will be helpful for further management. Also needed is to rule out IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome and control of stress and anxiety can help a lot in such a case.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
