Hi i can understand your concern....

Usually stomach pain could be from gastritis or ulcer commonly ...

For which pantoprazole can be given for two to four week.
If it is simple ulcer or gastritis than recovery will be there...

But here it is one year..

So investigate with urea breath testing for rule out h.pylori which leads chronic stomach infection....

If positive amoxycillin plus clarithromycin and omeprazole regimen needs to given for 14 days ....

Avoid gastric irritants like .....
1.excess tea
2.smoking
3.alcohol
4.Non veg foods etc....

Take digene syrup also ...

And yes consult gastroenterologist (if h.pylori negative ), for endoscopic examination and biopsy for histopath examination/....

//Take care
