Suggest Treatment For Severe Stress And Anxiety

Good Afternoon, I am a 21 year old college student. I have been noticing that after eating sugar, sometimes my chest hurts. I don t know if this is because I am under a great deal of stress or not, but it really only happens after eating sugar, this includes fruit. I eat healthy, and get plenty of vegetables, fruits and grains. But whenever I eat a small bowl of icecream, or a cup of strawberries with a small amount of sugar on it, my chest will hurt about 15 minutes later.

Hello, as per your query, first of all stress is something that is going to be there in everybody's life. But it can be easily managed/ kept away from you if given proper attention on time so that you do not have to suffer longer. The chest pain you get after eating something sweet at times may or may not be related to the stress. Are there any other symptoms apart from chest pain you observe? since when it started? Have you seen any doctor for this?Do you feel duzziness/too much thurst/suddenly feel like eating more/frequently urge to urinate?Any history of diabetes in family?
I would suggest you to get your cbc done. And when you have chest pain go to ER and get your EKG done. And also BP should be measured.Just to make sure the pain is related to any heart problems or not. Do you have any family history of heart condition?
Next thing for the stress, talk to your parents about it first. Let then know what is going on. They will understand the issue. Talking about things bring pressure /stress is a good way to deal with it. You feel relaxed and may be you can find a way to be not stressed. If not to parents or even talking to them, I would suggest you to go to a psychiatrist/psychotherapist just to get some counselling sessions. It is one of the important things which shows great effect on the condition and it helps a lot. The therapist ll talk and guide you, how to deal with these things effectively.
Things you can try to relax are doing regular exercise and meditation. This helps a lot. Do things that bring joy to you. Try to ignore things that bring stress or fight those things in a way , that can bring a positive change in you. The diet you are having is good. Just the prob that brings chest pain after eating sweets, for that I would suggest you to avoid eating sweet food item. And visit a doctor as soon as possible. Hope this helps. Any other queries do feel free to contact. Stay healthy and stressfree.
