Suggest Treatment For Severe Swelling And Pain In The Abdomen
My knee over a 4 day period became very painful with any movement and ached when resting. It kept swelling and my dr drained 25cc of yellow fluid out of it. Had blood work done and xrays and will have an mri Tuesday on it. I don t recall any trauma to it. Just happened out of the blue. Any ideas on what could be going on. I m 45 years old.

The symptoms are suggestive of a clinical condition called knee joint effusion which is nothing but a collection of fluid in the joint cavity.
Consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan. The fluid has to be aspirated and sent for studies.
