Suggest Treatment For Severe Testicle Pain

Dear Doctor,

The past few days i have had a pain in my left testicle. It comes and goes and varies in the type of pain(dull or sharp). And recently my left testicle has been shriveled and the cord has been thicker than my other other testicle. I dont know what is wrong but im starting to get very worried. Any thoughts?

Thank you

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The history suggest most possible cause could be epidimo-orchitis ( inflammation or epidimis and testicles )
2.I which you need to take a course of antibiotic with diclofenac for pain.
3.After the course the things should resolve - if not then needs further investigate.
4.Ultrasound scrotum - is investigation of choice in this case.
5.That will give exact condition of the testicular parenchyma, its vascular condition, epididimis and chord condition.

Good luck.
