Suggest Treatment For Severe Toenail Pain

I had my toenail removed two weeks ago and I am still in a lot of pain. They had me soak withe betadictine once a day and put some ear drop steriod on the toe. When should I be concerned about the constant pain? They now have me applying lidocaine jelly and told me to keep pushing back the toenail bed borders.
