I am having upper back pains from left to right, from the shoulder blades. I have a constant stingy itchy and burning pain. Sometimes it,s like something is biting into my skin on the back on each side and on the shoulder blades. It is a constant sharp pain. It started on my upper right side of my back and moved across my back to the left side. My back is also tender to touch sometimes. I had 2 weeks, of theraphy 3 times a week and got no relief. Hi,

Use an ice pack and an over-the-counter pain reliever such as Acetaminophen, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, or Naproxen. After the inflammation calms down, a heating pad or pack can help soothe muscles and connective tissue. If you have chronic back pain, sleep on a medium-firm mattress.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
