Hi, I have a severe case of uticaria. I develop huge welts randomly and can appear anywhere on my body. They are hot, itchy and sore to touch. Sometimes my face puffs up like a balloon. I ve been to numerous doctors and allergy clinics and had every kind of blood test/allergy test and nothing has come back. Has been going on for nearly 3 years now. I just take anti-histamines twice a day but some times that s not enough and have been prescribed other medication when it get severe which does make it go away and keep it at bay. But as soon as I miss a day or two of meds it comes straight back again. I just want answers. I don t want to be on meds every day for the rest of my life. These just mask the real problem. and who knows what the long term effects are from these. Cetirizine, T Lukast, Prednisolone to name a few. Any advice much appreciated.
