I think i have a hamstring injury - I run and train at gym a lot. However, I also am experiencing pain in my vagina (outside - literally on the front). My GP did an examination and said there was no prolapse or anything else he could feel. I just a bit worried and not sure what to do. I have obviously stopped running and I am doing swims and lighter workouts, but bit concerned. i did a spin/cycle class tonight and I have the tingling sensation in the left side of my vagina again. If you are able to help or offer advice -much appreciated. Sarah-Jane.
Activities like running and jogging require a certain attire for women and if not adopted can cause the vaginal lips to suffer friction burns. These are nothing serious and do heal in time, but should be avoided. I would recommend good inner wear and a proper outfit to help prevent friction in the future.
Also, a physical examination by your doctor helps rule out any serious conditions, so this is most probably just due to friction.
Best wishes.
