Hi,been told I suffer from top shelf vertigo , have had 4 bouts over the last 8 years that have totally knocked me off my feet and had me bedridden for days, this summer I ve been caught in a cycle of spinning and nausea,but have been able to carry on,is this because I m getting used to the sensation ?

Usually top shelf vertigo (BPPV) resolves with passage of time. But if condition is worsening then you can start withTab serc 8 mg (betahistidine) TDS Or tablet stemetil (Prochlorperazine) 12.5 mg 1× PO × BD. Ginseng tablets also seen to relieve the symptoms in some cases. If not relieved consult an ENT specialist.
