Hello,

The episodes of vomiting might have led to pulling of a muscle which he couldn't understand before but after the vomiting stopped he is having pain. Its good that you took him to a doctor and got him checked.

The doctor surely had ruled out all the other possibilities for the pain and assured you that its nothing but a muscle pain. you can make sure your friend takes rest for next few days. The dizziness is mostly because of effect of the medicine that he took in excess quantity. It should go away slowly.

Make sure he stays well hydrated as vomiting causes dehydration.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
