Suggest Treatment For Severe Vomiting And Headache In A Child
Hi Doctor, My 7 year old daughter, started vomiting since yesterday afternoon. Even water is coming out. We gave her Emset after which also she vomited. Took her to hospital they have given her Lanzol Junior 30 and have told us to give Emset whenever she vomits. Is there any thing else we can do to help her. Also she is not eating and drinking, and cring with severe headache. Thanks alot
Your child could have acute gastritis. For that he has been prescribed antacid course and anti emetic drug sos.
So it can be continued. The headache could be due to lost electrolyte. So additionally you should give him more water to maintain hydration and ORS or vital Z to maintain electrolyte balance.
He should be put on antibiotic if no improvement in 2-3 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
