Suggest Treatment For Severe Vomiting In A Baby

4 month old baby has been vomiting since late yesterday. Unable to keep his formula down. Taken to a local emergency room, given medicine to control vomiting and told to give him very small amounts of pedialyte approximately every two hours. He did sleep through the night but once again has been vomiting and unable to keep the pedialyte down . What would you suggest?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
You must keep him hospitalised with intravenous line (to keep prevent dehydration) till he is okay with his food. Reports will say whether it is infection or any kind of obtruction in food canal. Follow your doctors advice.
