Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In The Chest

I have sharp pain on the left chest, just to the left of my heart. Worsens when I lay down. Pericarditis? I m no physician, but that s the closest I find relative to symptoms. I also had kawasaki disease when i was an infant. due to fly monday and not sure i i should go on business trip with this pain

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, with the history of Kawasaki disease you need to have echo-cardiogram and EKG as well as fresh cardiac enzymes before planning to have.

Such type if symptoms resolve at this moment. With the history and newer presentation cardiac ischemia needs to be ruled out. Pericarditis seems less likely. Urgent medical facility review is recommended.
