Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In The Pelvic And Lower Back Area

I fell backward and landed on my left buttock. I had immediate severe shooting pain in my pelvis and lower back. I had to work to get off the floor. I can bear weight on my left leg but it hurts to do and I can t take a regular step with that leg. When I turn my torso to the right I have severe sharp pain in left side of hip. Do I need x-rays?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

It would be best to try and get an X ray done since you are in substantial pain with limited movement.

It may be only soft tissue and muscle damage but bony injury should be ruled out with imaging.

Use of anti inflammatory pain killers may help eg ibuprofen, cataflam, naproxen.

I hope this helps
