Suggest Treatment For Shifing, Cracking And Bruise Filled Shoulder Post Multiple Surgeries
I am 24,female, have had 3 surgeries on my right shoulder and the last one was supposed to be a latar j surgery but the doctor who did it did an outdated procedure that didn t work. My shoulder still cracks, shifts, bruises when it cracks hard, slips partially out of place, and shoots horrible pain down to my elbow when i move it quick. I ve tried doing shoulder exercises and it just aggravates my shoulder more and makes it worse.i need help for it but i don t know what I can do. What should I do?
You are suggested to get X-ray, CT and MRI done and get clinically examined by an Orthopedics to rule out sprain, tendon or ligament injury, fracture or dislocation. shoulder cuff tendinitis, sub acromial bursitis, bicipital tendinitis, etc. You are suggested to take acetaminophen , one stat when needed to get relieve from pain.
Your treatment will depend on the pathology and post surgery complications detected. Get connected to a Physical therapist. You will have to do any type of exercise under the observation of a physical therapist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
