Suggest Treatment For Shin Pain

hello doctor. i am 30 years old men. i love to play sports. 2years back i developed pain in my shin. after consulting one orthopedic he found that uric acid in my blood was double than normal. after taking prescribed medicines and rest for 6 months i resumed my sports activities. but the shin pain still persists. i even took calcium and other supplements for the bones as prescribed by one orthopedic. recently i found something called as 'shin split' while surfing on nets whose symptoms match mine. i want to know the cause of shin pain and its remedy. please advice . thank you.
