General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to shingles. I suggest using Acyclovir tablets three times a day. I also suggest using Acyclovir cream for local application at the blisters area. You can continue using Gabapentin to treat the pain.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
