Hi, I am physically in good health, active and fit. I have suffered some emotional issues, but have always have worked through this in the past. I have a high metabolism, and sometimes crave soft foods and or sweets to regulate energy level. I drink decaf coffee, but like cold beer, and am a moderate Cigarette smoker. My work is labor intensive. I have panic or anxiety attacks, that cause my writing hand to shake? While completing forms? Can you help?
You may benefit from a medicine such as propranolol that reduces tremors (shaking). You should consult a psychiatrist to seek treatment for your panic disorder. When your anxiety and panic is properly treated, your shaking (tremors) will also go down. The psychiatrist will also help you to quit smoking. Hope this answer is helpful.
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Panic attacks are due to the underlying anxiety. Anxiety should be having reasons and your psychologist should be able to identify the reasons. . These are mental disorders and not diseases. These are mental conditions rather, manifested itself out of wrong perceptions and stimuli. Numerous researchers and researches emphasise againn and again on the fact that mental disorders cannot be cured only with the help of psychiatric medicines. You need to alter your life style so as to suit the requirement, change your thinking patters and maintain positive body metabolism. Psychotherapy techniques, yoga, meditation etc should help you achieve these requirements. A trained psychologist / psychotherapist can help you in this aspect.
If you still need my help, please describe the whole problem in detail and post a direct question to me. I shall definitely help you with psychotherapy techniques to over come your problems.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
