Suggest Treatment For Shooting Pain In The Shin Even Though There Is No Fracture

I (27 Year old female, 110 pounds athlete) hurt my shin playing soccer lastnight and went to the hospital for an x-ray. the Xray came up clear but I am still having the throbbing pain in my shin. I am walking on it but am having a sharp shooting pain as I walk going from one side of my shin to the other. Can you please let me know your opinion on this?
