Suggest Treatment For Shooting Pain On Foot After Fall

my 11 son jumped from playground equipement and injured his foot. there is no visible swelling, but he walks on his toes and complains of shooting pain when places foot flat. do i need to take him to see his dr. or is this just a bruise that will heal w/time and care
