Suggest Treatment For Shooting Pain On The Left Foot For A 58-year-old
Hello, My mother, aged 58years, has been having severe shooting like pain on the top and side of her left foot. She does not have any osteoporosis or arthiritis. The pain seems more like a nerve pain as it is not persistent but occurs sometimes like a shooting pain. This has been there since a 3-4months. We met a orthopedic and he prescribed Nucoxia-90mg for 7 days and Neurobion (vit B12) for 20 days. However, now fater the course of Nucoxia is over, she is having severe swelling on eyes and body and feeling nauseated and very unwell. Infact except for the foot pain she was well before she started taking the medicines prescribed by the orthopedic. Also, the foot pain remains as is, as severe as before. What should we do?

Suggest Treatment For Shooting Pain On The Left Foot For A 58-year-old
Hello, The symptoms of your mother can be related to an allergic reaction to Nucoxia 90 mg. I recommend using antihistamines such as Cetirizine daily. If she has breathing difficulties, you should go at the emergency room. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
