Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
You are having blunt chest trauma due falling of exercise bar.
Blunt chest trauma can cause rib fracture, pneumothorax, Pulmonary contusions, musculoskeletal injury etc.
And all these give rise to chest pain and shortness of breath.
You are also not fully recovered with local treatment.
So better to get done chest x ray to rule out above mentioned complications.
If chest x ray is normal than no need to worry much. You are mostly having musculoskeletal injury. For this start painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs. Apply warm water pad on affected site. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Avoid movements causing pain.
You can wear rib belt to avoid mobilisation.
You will mostly improve in 1-2 weeks.
Hope I have solved your query. Wish you good health. Thanks.
