Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath And Cough

I have a black dot that is like a pimple in appearance it doesn t hurt but it is causing me a lil irritation in my throat now. It is on the right side and in the back kinda just behind tongue but on the side wall of my cheek it had a piercing pain at first but that only lasted maybe ten minutes and i t isn t sore or painful now just making my throat irritated now because I know it s there and I keep trying to clear my throat now. I haven t seen a doctor in years either n I just got over a cold/flu and maybe it s just me feeling a lil hypercondriactic but it almost feels like I m having trouble coughing and shortness of breath . what could this be

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptom of shortness of breath and cough which could be due to severe upper respiratory tract infection/lung infection which is leading to pharyngitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid eating spicy and heavy food. You should do warm saline gargles and betadine gargles alternatively. You should take cough expectorants as well. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order throat swab test and blood test along with X-ray chest. Doctor may prescribe antibiotic/anti viral (acyclovir) medications along with anti inflammatory Levocetirizine. Drink plenty of fluids to rehydrate yourself.
