Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath And Dizziness

When doing light work outside get very light headed (dizzy) and slight shortness of breath. Stop and sit down for several minutes problem seams to go away. Blood pressure checks out good but pulse goes up to about 119 which usually checks around 82 any other time. What can possibly be causing this issue? I am a male , 68 years old.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Shortness of breath on minimal exertion, dizziness, rapid heart rate in old age (age more than 60 years) are suggestive of cardiac disease more.
Possibility of congestive cardiac failure or coronary artery disease is more.
So better to get done ecg and 2d echo.
If something is wrong in these tests than you may need coronary Angiography to rule out coronary artery disease.
So don't wait at home, first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
