Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath Caused After Smoking Cannabis

I smoked cannabis while having a tonsil infection that I thought I was just getting over. The next day I felt awful and just as bad as the peak of the infection, including feeling constriction in my throat and shortness of breath. I will not smoke for a long time, but is there anything else I should do now?

Cannot say in your particular case. First, I don't know if you are on antibiotics which would be indiated for an infetion. Second, I do not know if you have wheese. This is incredibly common with smoking marijuana and its course can be quite variable with starting to have wheeze 1 or a few days after marijuana and it is probably the usual case that the asthma symptoms occur worse with some types of marijuana and not as much with other types (varies).
If there is asthma, it can be serious but it is certainly treatable with the usual asthma meds.
