Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath, Cough, Sneezing And Watery Eyes
I have shortness of breath, tiredness, itchy watery eyes, sneezing,,cough, stuffy nose, and have been diagnosed with ARDS ( adult respiratory distress syndrome). I m cold one minute and hot the next. Should I seek emergency care or am I okay to wait and see my PCP on Monday?
You are suffering from cough, sneezing, watery eyes and have history of ARDS. Since you are experiencing shortness of breath, you are advised to seek emergency care or contact your treating doctor at the earliest. Do not stress, stay away from anxiety and do not panic. Getting panicky will trigger the symptoms. You can take non sedating antihistamines to reduce symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Stay away from addictions if any. Decongestants and nasal sprays are helpful. Taking steam inhalation at least once a day will relieve stuffy nose.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
