Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath
when i start morning walk, after walking some distance i am short of breath and feels some discomfort. on taking rest for 1-2 mts the problem goes away and i can walk for 2-3 kms without any problem. dr advised to take nitrocontin2.6 morning and evening. i am taking medicine for BP which is under control. i request for your opinion.

Your previous cardiac history should be taken along with blood pressure measurement......
First rule out anemia by peripheral smear examination and HB estimation....
Than with iron tablet corrected accordingly if needed....
Cardiac cause should be ruled out by EKG and ECHO ....If any cardiac.cause present than specific drug given like for cardiac failure diuretic can be given....
Examine your calf for redness and swelling.. If present pulmonary embolism should be ruled out by echo and d dimer...
