I was feeling woozy, short of breath and listless so I took a nitrostat and chewed 320 mg of aspirin. I have heart disease and I ve had 6 way heart by-pass 5 years ago, a heart attack 13 years ago. I m feeling ok now. Should I take my regular dose of metoprolol? Should I do anything else?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are concerning considering your history, I would suggest that you immediately see a doctor without any delays. Your doctor may do EKG on you. It will tell him a lot about further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
