Suggest Treatment For Shoulder Pain

Hello there,

I am an 18 year old female, height 173 cm, weight 64 cm, who plays professional tennis and I have been having a chronic problem for two years now.

I have shoulder pain in my right shoulder. At first, it appeared as a small lump located on my right shoulder, then the pain started two years ago. There is constant pain, but the pain gets worse with exercise or temperature changes. I cannot sleep on my right shoulder at night, and have to place a pilow underneath my right shoulder so I can sleep to prevent myself from rolling over. I sometimes resort to painkillers to stop the pain.

It hurts a lot when I attempt to move my arm above shoulder level, as required in service motion in tennis. I sometimes get a grinding sound, and my shoulder pops every now and then, especially when I am stretching out before training. Finally, the pain tends to move down my arm, sometimes I have pain in my elbow or wrist in addition to my shoulder as a result.

Previous doctors have informed me of the possibility that I may have a rotator cuff tear associated with shoulder bursitis, while some have told me that it is simply a sprain, although I doubt a two year injury would turn out to be "just a sprain". I am in need of immediate help, and I need to know what the next step is. Please reply asap. Thank you.
