Suggest Treatment For Sickness And Pain In Abdomen Post Colonstomy

My brother was diagnosed with colon cancer a year ago and had surgery to remove the tumor and has been taking chemo. About six weeks ago they did a colonstomy (sp) reversal and reconnected the colon. He had complications as his blood was too thin and he lost a lot of blood about a week after the surgery and they had to hopitalize, give him blood transfusions and vitamin K which they said he was lacking. Since then he is not able to eat without getting sick afterwards. He is very thin and weak and is having a lot of pain in his side to lower abdomen. Could this be a reoccurrance of the cancer or something else. He has been scheduled for a CT scan thank you.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it may not be the cancer again but here the question of anastomosis is matters and it need to be examined or looked, tested, MRI is best to get done, or have a word with oncologist hope this information helps.
