Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Zoloft

I am currently taking zoloft after giving birth to my second child in Feb. I took it for a year before getting pregnant. I have been taking it for 6 months with NO ISSUES. For the past 4 weeks, I feel like my eyes get stuck in a crossed position., I get sick to my stomach for a minute and a small headache. It started out pretty random but it is not at least 10 times an hour. Could it be the medicine or something else?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From your description, I am of the opinion that why should you take antidepressants (Zoloft) for so long, you can start tapering the dose. Yes, the symptoms that you mentioned are most probably due to chronic use of Sertraline.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
