Suggest Treatment For Sinus Congestion And Headaches

I lost 30 lbs in 6 weeks without trying, but my appetite was not the best. was diagnosed with gastritis and now take Prilosec. But after 6 months have not gained back any weight while eating normally. have just developed hot swollen itching hives that appear where I have contact with clothing. feeling like I have sinus congestion and headaches on one side of the head.

General & Family Physician 's  Response

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. If you have sinus congestion you can use nasal decongestant sprays like xylometazoline ( otrivin ). This should be used more than 10 days continuously. You can also take chewable vitamin c 100 mg daily. If there is no improvement then consult an ENT specialist to rule out any complications and to manage it.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
