I have had an sinus infection for over two weeks, my sinuses are hurting so bad. I took amoza, can't spell. It hasn't helped. I got rid of the sore throat and my nose isn't running like it was, I had to go back to work, or lose my job. what do i take next?

Hello,

As per your query, you have symptoms of sinus infection and sore throat which is due to upper respiratory tract infection along with decreased immunity of body.

I would suggest you to do:
- Do warm saline gargles three times daily
- Drink lukewarm water on daily basis
- Take hot milk boiled with half a teaspoon of turmeric
- Taking decongestant nasal spray can also be relieving
- Taking steam inhalation will be very helpful

Consult ENT specialist once and get it examined. The doctor may order blood tests and scan of sinuses. The doctor may also prescribe antiviral or anti-bacterial depending upon the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
