Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns about.
Viral sinusitis usually do not lead to green discharge, however it can be caused by superimposed bacterial infection.
To treat the bacterial sinusitis, you need to take appropriate antibiotics, otherwise it may cause further complications.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
