HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The pain in the mouth and the abnormal taste may be related to each other though there are other causes of abnormal tastes in the mouth.

The pain in the mouth may be related to an infection in gums or teeth. This may cause abnormal taste. Abnormal taste in the mouth may also be linked to condition such as reflux disease.

If the pain continues you should be evaluated by a dentist.

I hope this helps
