Suggest Treatment For Sinus Pressure , Cold And Sore Throat

I have a severe cold with sinus pressure. I had a sore throat last night and when I checked it I saw what looks like a half-dollar sized area of broken blood vessels (?) right about where the roof of my mouth and my throat meet. My throat is no longer sore but the spots are still there. Is this anything to worry about?

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that you had an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection also known as Common Cold and is caused due to viral infection..
The red spots over the roof of the mouth that looks like broken blood vessel seems to be due to inflammation secondary to infection..
As the sore throat is no more present gradually the redness will also subside and you need not to worry as inflammation will subside although can take a bit longer and you can wait for 2 to 3 days..
Continue to do warm saline gargles and steam inhalations and avoid spicy and chilled foods..
If there is discomfort you can do gargles with numbing mouthwash..
Chew Vitamin C pellets..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
