I have major sinus problems, and my dr does not think it is allergy related, am on the waiting list to see an ENT specialist. I was intubated inexpectedly a few years ago and wanted to know if this could be the cause? I am 30 years old 5 1 215pnd I first thought that the sinus problems started when I was pregnant with my daugther but now im wondering if it was prior...it has been 24/7 for 3 years...I have to sleep sitting up, my nose splits and bleeds, my toungue splits and bleeds at night b/c cant breath through my nose. I have only rare moments when I can smell and have had only very mild relief with any medication, spray s etc Thank you
Intubation few years may not cause present problem. Present condition may be due to allergy to cold climate or cool drinks or animal dandre or pollen or mites in your blankets etc.
Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. Use tablet. monterleukast and levocetrizine once a day for five days. Drink hot water regularly. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
